DP4b- Van Van Quang Upper Buddha

Prof. Dr. Dich was born on 19^th May 1942 in Dinh Bang commune, Tu Son district, Bac Ninh province (today known as Dinh Bang ward, Tu Son town, Bac Ninh province). He grew up in a farmer family with both his parents were farmers. He is the second son in the family of 5 children, 3 girls and 2 boys.

He completed formal trainings from high school to graduate and post graduate. He received an intermediary/college degree in Architecture in Vietnam, then received a Diplom engineering in Construction and a PhD degree in Construction Engineering from the Moscow University of Construction of Soviet Union, today the Russian Federation. He also received certificate of Associate Professor and Full Professor from the State of Vietnam.

In more than 40 years working at the Ministry of Architecture and the Ministry of Construction, he worked in various fields from construction works, construction design, construction material, scientific research, teaching and training and state management at the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam. He was in the post of Director of the Department of Science and Technology (DST) of the Vietnam Ministry of Construction (MoC) and General Director of the Institute for Building Science & Technology (IBST) of the MoC. He also participated in professional activities in International organizations such as Member of the Executive Committee of Concrete Model Code for Asia (ACCMC), Member of Executive Committee of Asian Concrete Federation (ACF), participated as member of the Technical Committee TC71 of the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). He presided and directed many research works at Industry and State levels in the MoC. He wrote many research articles and reports on concrete and reinforced concrete for construction published on domestic and international Scientific journals as well as in scientific Proceedings. He published more than 10 books on Construction, Dich hoc (Theory of Change), Phong Thuy (Fengshui), Treatment of Diseases without medicines, Khi Cong (Qui gong), Tu Cong Phap (Cong Phap Cultivation), Universe and men and Buddhism Study etc. He has his own website at www.GSDich.vn to serve domestic and international audience. All of his writings and teachings have shown the objectiveness and scientificness of these fields.

In addition to his main job of managing and researching Construction Science, Professor Nguyen Tien Dich also concurrently worked as teacher in universities of Construction industry, took part in training in graduate and post graduate programs. He had nearly 40 years teaching in many professional technical fields in graduate and post graduate program until today. At present, he is still day by day organising and teaching courses on the above mentioned fields, making and sanctifying talisman, and providing free advice and assistance to people on Phong Thuy for houses and other matters as well as free treatment of diseases. He has trained a large team of high level psychic practitioners. Of the nearly 500 practitioners trained by him, most have attained Cao Tang Bo Tat – High Virtue Bonze Bodhisattva level. Some practitioners have attained Thuong Phat - High Buddha, Phat - Buddha and Kim Cuong Bo Tat – Colossus Bodhisattva level.

2. Cultivation path

He had 8 previous incarnations cultivating at home and 5 incarnations cultivating in pagoda as follows:

· In the I1^th incarnation from the existing one: started cultivating in pagoda;

· In the 9^th incarnation from the existing one: cultivated in pagoda, attained Than Linh (Deity) level 3;

· In the 8^th incarnation from the existing one: cultivated in pagoda, attained Cao Tang Bodhisattva (High Virtue-bonze Bodhisattva) level 4;

· In the 3^rd incarnation from the existing one: cultivated in pagoda, attained La Han (Arhat) level 3;

· In Previous incarnation: cultivated in pagoda, dharma name Thich Quang Tinh. He was born in an official family in Tam Son village, Dong Ngan commune, Tu Son district, Bac Ninh province. His parent died at his early age and he lived with his grandparents in Le Ho commune, Kim Bang district, Ha Nam province. He got married at his father’s village Tam Son when he was 19. At the age of 29, having 3 daughters, he left home for cultivating in pagoda. He had cultivated at the following pagodas: Kim Dai pagoda in Dinh Bang commune, Sat pagoda (now called Dong Lai pagoda) in Sat village, Tu Son district, Bac Ninh province. Then He moved to cultivate at Denh pagoda (now Kim Quy pagoda) in Nga Son district, Thanh Hoa province, and further at Huong pagoda in Huong Son commune, My Duc district, Hanoi city.

+ He continued cultivating at Thinh My pagoda in Thinh Dai village, Le Ho commune (today, village 8, Dai Cuong commune, Kim Bang district, Ha Nam province) which was his mother’s home village. At the age of 51, on 12 December 1901 (4^th day of 11^th lunar month year Tan Suu), he was honored High Buddha level 3 by the Highest Universal Council (FOGHY), i.e. attainment of Dao, in this pagoda with Buddha name “Cau Kieu” (Kieu Bridge) which means: the one who accomplished building a bridge across a large river. He also taught Buddhism and treated diseases for people in this pagoda. Today, there is still a temple for worshiping him named Duc Tien Ong within this pagoda.

+ By the end of his life, he moved to cultivate at Nui Voi (or Tien Ong mountain) pagoda in Quang Thua village, Tuong Linh commune, Kim Bang district, Ha Nam province. He continued teaching Buddhism and treating diseases for people there. At the age of 61, on 26^th day of 12^th lunar month year Tan Hoi or 1911, he entered the Nirvana in this place. The disciples built his tomb tower in this pagoda. This pagoda however was totally destroyed in the French – Japanese war period in Vietnam. Today, the temple for worshipping him was rebuilt and named Duc Tien Ong temple and Voi mountain is named Tien Ong mountain. His statute is also being worshiped in Tam Giao pagoda in the same commune.

+ In 1942, he came back to the physical space in this incarnation.

· This incarnation, cultivating at home, Dharma name Thich Minh Toan.

* At the age of 60, in the invisible space, his Dharma Astral was honored High Buddha level 4 by the Highest Universal Council (FOGHY). In the physical space, he was honored Su Phu (Master) at the age of 64 and started organizing training courses to teach his disciples.

* At the age of 76, on 7th April 2017 he received a Decree of Troi honoring him to be Upper Buddha degree 4 at the Cao pagoda, Ban Long mountain in Pho Da range, Hong Son commune, My Duc district, Hanoi city, Buddha name Van Van Quang (Innumerable Bright Clouds).

* On 15th June 2017 he was honored Upper Buddha degree 8 in Fansipan pagoda, Lao Cai province, Buddha name Van Van Quang.

* At the age of 77, on 21st day of 3rd lunar month year Mau Tuat (2018) he received a Troi’s Decree honoring him as Highest Revered Buddha (Picture 2) on Bong Lai mountain, Hong Son commune, My Duc district, Hanoi, Buddha name Van Van Quang.

* On 10^th June 2018, Prof.Dich – Van Van Quang Buddha received a Decree of Troi at Troi-Buddha Temple in Hanoi appointing his Dharma Astral being Van Van Quang Buddha to hold the position of the Head of Highest Universal Council (FOGHY) replacing LANTIG Shakyamuni Buddha who retired from his term. His statute (at the beginning of this paper) and other related Decrees of Troi are being worshipped in Troi-Buddha Temple in Hanoi (Picture 3).

So the one who once built the bridge now have crossed the large river, elevated to higher level in the Universe, become Bright Cloud. As it was sung in a mother’s lullaby:

Muốn sang thì bắc Cầu Kiều,

Muốn con hay chữ thì yêu lấy thầy.

(For crossing the river, build Kieu Bridge

For a well-educated child, love the teacher.)

The cultivation path of Van Van Quang Buddha has shown that He is a successful cultivator in both Tran space (physical space) and Troi space (invisible space). He is a shining Teacher, a living Buddha who has been guiding any one on cultivation path in this incarnation.

3. Other appellations

Van Van Quang Buddha also has other appellations as follows:

1- Tri Hue Quang Buddha (Buddha who has expansive wisdom and awareness

2- Cong Phap Tue Giac Buddha (Buddha cultivating Cong Phap attained enlightened wisdom);

3- Phap truyen Thuong Phap Buddha (Buddha spreading Three Supreme Daos: Troism, Buddhism and Emperorism);

4- Tan Cong Hien Tue Buddha (Buddha dedicating wholeheartedly for wisdom).

Through his tireless work in this incarnation, we have seen him made huge contribution to the cause of educating mankind to enlighten them about Universe and the worlds of two mankinds –the Rough man and the Astral man co-existing. As a scientist he always emphasizes the scientific nature and criticizes idealistic and superstitious view on these matters. He is the one strongly criticized the idealistic and delusive view (dark) of many people who considered cultivation as superstitious and unrealistic practice in the physical space.

The great example in cultivation of Professor Dich shines our cultivation path towards the high levels in Universe. He is the only one who has been training disciples to be high level psychic practitioners and clearly pointed out that telepathy is the science connecting the two worlds of men in the Universe: Rough men and Astral men are co-working in order to solve many problems which Rough men with limited abilities cannot solve only by themselves. Through this cooperation, the civilization of mankind will progress faster. He strongly criticized ignorant and stubborn views which consider the existence of Troi, Buddha and Emperor as myth, without realizing that these are the only creators of the Universe and men and are operating the whole Universe. Van Van Quang Buddha is devoting his effort for disseminating knowledge to people about Three Supreme Daos (Troism, Buddhism and Emperorism). He is also fighting against heresy religion that sabotaging Buddhism day by day. He has shown to us that cultivation is essentially improvement of mind and body, even at home, will certainly achieve good outcomes if the cultivator has sincere and un-shaken mind.

His attainment of Buddhahood in this incarnation also shows the teaching of Shakyamuni Buddha (who is also his higher superior and teacher) is true: “Tathāgata is the Buddha has become, all living beings are the Buddha will become”, i.e. everyone can cultivate to become Buddha.

On 26^th day of 5^th lunar month year Mau Tuat (9 June 2018), in this Dau hour, in the immense joy of people, the statute of dharma Astral of Prof Dich being Van Van Quang Buddha was respectfully placed on the main altar in Troi-Buddha Temple in Hanoi. Mankind begins worshipping Him from this moment on. This is a solemn and sacred moment for mankind in the whole Universe.
